As a Christian radio station, Joy Gospel Radio`s broadcasting policy is first and foremost to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, to build up believers in their faith and to lead people to faith in Christ.

The basis of our broadcasting policy

The Bible is the only basis. Any views based upon revelations, dreams, manifestations, and visions should be inline with the Bible.

Approach

We aim to proclaim the complete truth of God. We emphasize the victory of Jesus Christ through His death on the Cross. His resurrection, His ascension and His second coming.

Unbiblical Viewpoints

The general spirit and trend of programmes should always be as per the Word and Oracles of God.

Non-Denominational

Joy Gospel Radio is a non-denominational Christian  radio station, who invites individuals with presentation abilities from various Christian denominations or organization's to present or take part in programmes. Joy Gospel Radio do not allow proselytizing or discrimination of any sort, Joy Gospel Radio will not participate in or enhance specific church denomination’s rituals and dogmas.

 Listeners

The programme content must reflect the broad spectrum of the listenership.

Christian radio station broadcasting policy – Other Faiths

Joy Gospel Radio, broadcasting policy recognizes and acknowledge that South Africa is a multi-religious country and that freedom of worship is a constitutional right. Joy Gospel Radio respect the right of other religious groups to proclaim their convictions, therefore, Joy Gospel Radio do not acknowledge or promote criticism of other religions, however, Joy Gospel Radio, only broadcasts the timeless truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  

Controversial Matters, Persons, and Organisations

Joy Gospel Radio is committed to being relevant and may cover these issues in designated programmes and will oversee the above matters and the propagating of party–political viewpoints is inadmissible.

Music

The music played may consist of different styles and presentations. However, we insist upon two absolute requirements for vocal music. Firstly, the content must be consistent with Scripture (free interpretation), and secondly, the words must be audible.
