The foundation on which we are built
The Bible is the only foundation on what we are built. Any views based upon revelations, dreams, manifestations, and visions should be according to the Word of God.
Approach
We aim to proclaim the complete truth of God. We emphasize the victory of Jesus Christ through His death on the Cross. His resurrection, His ascension and His second coming.
Unbiblical Viewpoints
The general spirit and trend of programmes should always be as per the Word and Oracles of God.
Non-Denominational
Joy Radio is a non-denominational Christian radio station, who invites individuals who are able to present their own story, from various Christian denominations or organization's to take part in programmes. Joy Radio does not allow discrimination of any sort, Joy Radio will not participate in or enhance specific church denomination’s rituals and dogmas.
Listeners
The programme content must reflect the broad spectrum of our listener's.
Christian radio station broadcasting policy – Other Faiths
Joy Radio`s, broadcasting policy recognizes and acknowledge that South Africa is a multi-religious country and that freedom of worship is a constitutional right. Joy Radio respect the right of other religious groups to proclaim their convictions, therefore, Joy Radio do not acknowledge or promote criticism of other religions, however, Joy Radio, only broadcasts the timeless truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Music
The music played may consist of different styles and presentations. However, we insist upon two absolute requirements for vocal music. Firstly, the content must be consistent with Scripture (free interpretation), and secondly, the words must be audible.
